The new unmanned DJI is its smallest yet - and it can be fully controlled with hand movements.

The Chinese company unveiled its latest unmanned camera at an event in New York on Wednesday. The spark fits in the palm of your hand and weighs less than a tin can. It can control gestures of hands, an application for smartphones or a remote control.
Spark is the first unmanned aerial vehicle from which you can control your hands from the beginning of the flight to the end (the previous model allows you to take a picture manually).
Spark is designed to be inserted into the bag and be in motion. It can fly through small spaces, for example, between library book shelves or next to a set of playgrounds.

Spark, which has fixed hands, is even smaller and lighter than the folding crawler Mavic Pro, which DJI launched last September. It is also much cheaper.
"The design for this was really an instant tweak. With Mavic, you still had to turn your hands. It's as easy as turning on the top of the button and you're in the air, "said Michael Perry, director of the DJI Strategic Partnerships, told CNN Tech.
Spark has two new shooting modes. Pano creates panoramas, and ShallowFocus puts the subject in focus and blurs the background.
It also has a new mode for shooting video, which allows the drone to take a minute of video and automatically cuts it down to a 10-second clip that can be used on social networks.

The Spark can fly up to 400 feet and can feel obstacles up to 16 feet away. According to DJI, an unmanned aerial vehicle can fly up to 16 minutes - the longest flight time for such a drone.
The drone, which is available for pre-order on Wednesday and starts deliveries in mid-June, starts at $ 499. Spark Fly More Combo, which includes additional propellers and batteries, a charging hub and other accessories, costs $ 699. The spark comes from white, blue, green, red and yellow.
Perry says that the target audience for the drone is "all".
"Anyone who has a personal story to tell. People who use mobile phones to publish Instagram or Snapchat materials. It's just a new way to tell a great story about your life, "Perry said.
