Nomad Base Station Pro wireless charger can charge three devices simultaneously

Wireless chargers are great and let you charge your devices without messing around with wires and connectors. The problem is that the charging cells of your smartphone and charger are very easy to swap, so you sometimes pick up your phone and find that it hasn't actually been charging the whole time. This is annoying. The Nomad Base Station Pro is trying to change that.
Using Aira Freepower technology, the charger allows you to charge your devices without having to line up everything carefully, so you can slap your smartphone onto the charging surface without having to recheck each time, similar to what Spansive did with its own multi-device wireless charger. ... You no longer need to wake up to see that your phone's battery is dead due to the fact that you were not able to properly place it in the charger - this thing ensures that your devices will charge while they are on the charging surface.
The Nomad Pro base station is larger than a conventional wireless charger and measures 8 "x 5" (width x depth). Don't worry, all this footprint won't be wasted as this charger can wirelessly power up to three devices at once. That's right, as long as you can place them on the charging surface (the central parts of the devices should be on the surface), they will charge. Do you and your girlfriend alternate between using the wireless charger in the living room every night? Now you can charge both of them at the same time. How about two phones and true wireless headphones? Yes, that works too.
At launch, the device will only work with Qi-compatible iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones, and AirPods and AirPods Pro cases. However, with a later software update, it will provide support for Google devices (both smartphones and Pixel headphones) and other Qi-enabled devices. Unfortunately, it won't charge the Apple Watch as it is incompatible with the Qi wireless charging platform, although the company says they plan to include a charging solution next year. So yes, while we would have preferred it to work with all Qi-enabled devices right away, we appreciate that there is something that can make wireless charging even more convenient.
The Nomad Pro base station can charge devices without the need for careful positioning, thanks to the integration of a matrix of 18 charging coils just below the surface. These coils cover pretty much the entire charging surface, ensuring that the charging cell on your phone (or other devices) matches one of the coils, no matter how you place it. Trick? It doesn't charge as fast as other chargers, with a maximum output of 7.5W for iPhones, 5W for Android devices, and 2W for wireless headphone cases. However, it will optimize the number of chargers you need to have on hand. The construction, among other things, consists of machined aluminum for the frame, black soft leather on the charging surface and grippy rubber for the feet so it stays in place.
The Nomad Pro base station is available now for $ 229.95.
